Overview

Nursing and Midwifery

Even before coronavirus, Federal Government data showed that health care and social assistance was the fastest growing industry in Australia. Post covid, this industry is believed to emerge as one of the most stable ones. The demand for well-trained nurses in Australia shows no signs of slowing and it is estimated that Australia will require more than 100,000 nurses by 2025 hence, the need to look for overseas nurses.

Due to the high demand, registered nurses (Medical Practice and Aged Care) and nurse practitioners are listed in the Skilled Occupations (SOL) and Consolidated Sponsored Occupations List (CSOL) and also provided with an incentive to be qualified to obtain a permanent residency in Australia. Graduates can count on building and investing in a career in nursing in Australia.
