Skill Assessment for Nursing and Midwifery

For nursing and midwife students who want to migrate to Australia, ANMAC’s (Australian Nursing and Midwifery Accreditation Council) Skilled Migration Services will assess their skills. Following are the steps required for full skill assessment.

Steps for a Full Skills Assessment

Applicants must arrange to have verification of their registration emailed to verification@anmac.org.au This must be done for every country or jurisdiction where you have been registered.

Note, ANMAC will not accept emails that are sent from free web-based email accounts (eg.: Gmail, Outlook, AOL, etc.). Emails sent from other addresses will be accepted at the discretion of the assessor.

Applicants must provide their English language test score and date of completion from the test provider. The minimum requirement must be met for the test before submission.

Submission of scanned copies of the following original supporting documents

Proof of Identity
Bio-statistical page(s) of passport
Change of name documents (marriage decree nisi, deed poll)
An official passport-sized photograph taken in the last 6 months
Graduation certificate and transcript. The transcript must include commencement and completion dates, as well as theory and practice hours. If the University cannot provide this information, ANMAC requires a copy of the syllabus to be posted directly to ANMAC.
Professional references that prove applicants have worked as a paid nurse or midwife.
Agent Declaration Form, if applicants have nominated an agent to act on your behalf.

Note: Applicants will receive an email from ANMAC confirming receipt of their application and payment.

If applicants do not receive an email within twenty-four hours of applying online or are having difficulty uploading their supporting documentation, contact ANMAC

To avoid account deletion, applications will need to submit their application and pay for their assessment within one month of creating their account.
